Software Development and Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this position in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will work from 6 pm till 2 am EST Time zone.

About the Role

This position involves providing support and maintenance for software applications, implementing new changes to the code, and resolving production issues.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Providing technical support and maintenance for software applications.
  2. Troubleshooting and resolving production system issues, minimizing downtime.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and resolve customer-reported problems.
  4. Performing regular maintenance tasks, including backup, performance tuning, and monitoring.
  5. Maintaining documentation related to production support procedures and processes.
  6. Enhancing software applications to improve performance, security, and reliability.
  7. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software development and support.
  8. Demonstrating strong English communication skills.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer (.NET) or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in technologies such as .NET (MVC), Web Services / Web API, SQL Server (advanced programming skills, like writing Stored procs, functions etc.), C#, jQuery, AJAX.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in production support and troubleshooting of software applications.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
