NOC Supervisor Job Role

Key to our success is the monitoring and troubleshooting of network issues, as well as providing proactive support to field teams. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Core, RAN, TXN & FIX, NSS & IT nodes and be skilled in engagement and escalation to all stakeholder teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fault Monitoring: Identifying and reporting network faults on Core, RAN, TXN & FIX, NSS & IT nodes.
  • Engagement and Escalation: Effective communication with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Network Support: Providing hands-on assistance for planned network activities.
  • NMS Health Checks: Conducting routine checks on various platforms and tools.
  • Service Requests Handling: Processing and resolving service requests in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Telecom/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Prior working experience in a NOC environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Huawei, ZTE and Nokia RAN equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Detailed understanding of RAN technologies (2G/LTE).
  • In-depth knowledge of network topologies and their inter-working.
  • Strong understanding of basic call flows for 2G/4G.
  • Proficiency in NMS systems and associated software tools.
