IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

To Ensure successful 24x7x365 roster based shift Operations in Network Operation Center.

The Main Job is Assurance of Effective Network Surveillance - Productive Escalation of Faults/Degradations/Outages and follow-up for resolution as per Business Rules, with concern stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient Network Surveillance and Fault Management: 1) Efficient Network Surveillance of network nodes for faults and service degradation in accordance with NOC FM framework 2) Environment and outage alarms escalation and trouble ticket generation as per business rules 3) Radio Network Performance monitoring on near real time basis as per granularity period 4) Generate Trouble Tickets, update and follow up till resolution.
  • NOC Radio Floor Responsibility: 1) Smooth Shift handover and takeover 2) Generation of Shift Conformance reports 3) Ensure Conformance to NOC RADIO procedures and processes 4) Provisioning of vendor logins as per approved activities 5) Ensuring maximum availability during shift timings.
  • Radio Network Special tasks and reports: 1) Radio Network Synthetic alarms and their Trouble Tickets Management 2) Radio Network Planned activities tracking. 3) Generation of Radio network periodic and on demand reports. 4) Compliance to RA requirement. 5) Special Event monitoring and timely updates to management. 6) Perform network acceptance ATPs for upcoming nodes.
  • Radio Network Configuration Management:1) Perform on-demand configuration management of Radio Nodes.
  • NOC Radio Department Continual Improvements Initiatives: 1) Initiation and completion of Kaizen and Quality improvement project.

Qualification:

  • Minimum bachelor`s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Computer science or related fields. (Recognized from PEC)
  • Relevant experience preferred

Technical
Competencies

  • Understanding of 2G, 3G & 4G Technologies.
  • Understanding of Wireless Network.
  • Understanding of Network Operation Center Processes.
