Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical design, with proficiency in CAD software and mechanical design-related university projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawing tasks, as well as supporting senior engineers in CAD operations and product design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawing tasks.
  • Support senior engineers in CAD operations and product design.
  • Collaborate with the design team to meet project specifications.
  • Perform quality control checks on assigned tasks.
  • Prepare and update design documentation.
  • Participate in reverse engineering and design optimization tasks.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA.
  • Good knowledge of 3D modeling, assemblies, and technical drawing, dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods and design for manufacturing is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical, quick thinking and learning ability, self-organization is a must.
  • Effective communication skills with the team and with the client.
