About the Job

We are seeking a skilled sports enthusiast to join our team as a Sports Editor. As a key member of our content creation department, you will be responsible for researching and writing engaging sports news articles, reports, and features.

  • This includes conducting research on various sports-related topics, gathering information from different sources, and interviewing sportsmen and stakeholders.
  • You will also be required to manage social media presence, publish news on our content management system, and collaborate with other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Research and write high-quality sports news articles and reports.
  2. Conduct interviews with sportsmen, stakeholders, and other relevant individuals.
  3. Manage and maintain player profiles database.
  4. Publish news on our content management system and manage social media presence.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Journalism, Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent writing, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of sports and ability to understand complex issues.
