**Job Title:** Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled backend developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of core systems and data products. In this role, you will play a key part in building high-quality data solutions, solving complex problems using automotive datasets, and optimizing backend infrastructure for maintainability, performance, and scalability.

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance backend systems and data products
  • Optimize backend infrastructure to support data-heavy applications and ensure reliability, uptime, and data accuracy
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in live environments
  • Leverage proprietary datasets to solve industry-specific problems and deliver value to customers
  • Work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders across the company

**Requirements:*

  • 3+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in a production environment
  • Proficient in Python with a solid understanding of best practices for writing clean, maintainable code
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and SQL databases
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting backend systems from scratch
  • Comfortable managing and optimizing live production systems

**Nice to Have:*

  • Experience mentoring or working with junior developers
  • Demonstrated initiative through personal or open-source projects
