Key Role Summary

The Onboarding Associate plays a pivotal part in elevating the onboarding experience for Spanish-speaking restaurant partners in the United States. This critical role involves bridging communication gaps, ensuring seamless customer journeys, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between new restaurant partners and internal teams, facilitating contract signature through successful platform implementation.
  • Conduct tailored onboarding calls and training sessions based on each restaurant's unique operational model.
  • Configure account settings and assist customers in customizing the platform to align with their workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Support, Product, and Software teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Monitor onboarding milestones and proactively follow up to maintain clients' on-schedule progress towards go-live.
  • Educate customers on platform best practices and feature utilization, promoting long-term satisfaction and adoption.
  • Identify potential risks, gaps, or delays in the onboarding process and implement proactive solutions.
  • Provide structured feedback to internal teams to enhance onboarding tools, documentation, and customer experiences.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory, enabling effective communication with Spanish-speaking restaurant partners in the United States.
  • Equivalent work experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry may be considered in place of formal education.
  • 0-2 years of experience in onboarding, customer success, implementation, or support— preferably within a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
  • Prior experience working in or closely with the restaurant or hospitality industry (e.g., as a manager, server, chef, or in tech support for hospitality systems).
  • Familiarity with restaurant technology tools such as POS systems, online ordering platforms, inventory or scheduling software is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using CRM or project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Aircall, Asana).
  • Ability to analyze and streamline onboarding processes using automation tools, templates, and conditional logic.
  • Comfortable setting up automated communications, data syncing between systems, or onboarding task sequences.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based software platforms and the ability to guide users through system setup and best practices.
  • Basic understanding of APIs or data mapping is beneficial but not required.
  • Bonus: Experience with data imports, basic troubleshooting, or software configuration.
