Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Retail Operations Manager to lead our retail operations and drive sales growth.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record in driving sales performance.

  1. Develop and execute annual sales strategies by aligning with top management's goals and leveraging sales forecasting data.
  2. Drive monthly sales targets across shopping centers through effective team management and report preparation.
  3. Achieve monthly sales targets for bakeries through team leadership and ensure timely reporting.
  4. Conduct regular surprise visits to shopping centers or bakeries to evaluate in-charge and team performance.
  5. Monitor and guide in-charges of shopping centers and bakeries on their performance metrics and guarantee smooth operational functionality.
  6. Ensure exceptional customer service at all retail outlets by reducing dissatisfaction incidents and implementing mystery shopping initiatives.
  7. Guarantee that in-charges purchase stock based on demand to avoid overstocking or understocking.
  8. Oversee procurement administrative matters when required, particularly in the absence of the in-charge.
  9. Assure the efficient operation of the warehouse by reviewing weekly stock reports and conducting regular audits.
  10. Take charge of warehouse administrative duties when needed, especially in the absence of the in-charge.
  11. Host quarterly meetings to set, review, and revise performance standards and key result areas (KRAs) for direct reportees.
  12. Perform regular performance evaluations of immediate staff on a quarterly basis.
  13. Ensure proper training and development of staff as needed through performance appraisals and training need analysis.
  14. Develop staff through formal and informal coaching, counseling, and mentoring sessions.
  15. Implement succession planning by developing successors for himself and his immediate subordinates.
  16. Participate in technical interviews for staff needed to be hired in the retail operations division.
  17. Collaborate with top management to plan new outlets, conduct sales forecasting, and oversee inauguration activities for new bakeries and centers.
  18. Negotiate with brands to establish shop-in-shop arrangements and allocate space according to their requirements after obtaining top management approval.
