Job Title: Health Specialist

About the Role:

This position entails monitoring and enhancing overall service oversight at supported primary health care centers.

The successful candidate will ensure quality healthcare services by conducting regular field visits, implementing evaluation tools, and developing action plans to address identified gaps. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare institutions and social service organizations to enhance continuity and holistic care through patient referrals.

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team under pressure. Experience in primary healthcare and NGOs is highly desirable.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor program activities in supported facilities.
  • Implement evaluation tools, including interviews and assessments, to evaluate health service delivery.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve identified gaps at supported Primary Health Care centers.
  • Provide training to Primary Healthcare staff on capacity building, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Team to identify medication stock outs and supply needs.
  • Track Non-Food Items distribution and refer patients to other relevant sectors for services.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including vulnerability, qualitative, and quantitative data.
