Bid Writer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Bid Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality, compelling bid responses and proposals to secure new business opportunities. You will work closely with business development, sales, technical, and operations teams to produce accurate and persuasive content tailored to client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing the complete bid cycle from drafting to proofreading, formatting, submission, and follow-ups. You will also be responsible for identifying and monitoring tender opportunities through portals, procurement websites, and market research. A strong understanding of tender documents and client specifications is essential to ensure complete and compliant responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the complete bid cycle from drafting to proofreading, formatting, submission, and follow-ups
  • Identify and monitor tender opportunities through portals, procurement websites, and market research
  • Prepare high-quality, tailored bids and proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and ITTs
  • Research eligibility criteria, client requirements, and project scopes to ensure compliance and competitiveness
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect data, case studies, and technical input for proposals
  • Track and report bid outcomes maintain a knowledge base of successful submissions and lessons learned
  • Respond to client queries and clarifications during and after the bidding process


Requirements:
  • Must have a degree in English language & Literature
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in bid/tender writing, proposal development, or procurement
  • Fluent in English with exceptional written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines
