We are seeking a skilled Reservation and Ticketing Agent to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Back Office 'Flight Operations Team', you will be responsible for handling complex flight bookings and ticket issuance.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will need to demonstrate a clear understanding of IATA Fares and Ticketing, including BSP Accounting, Refunds, and Reconciliation processes.

As an experienced Reservation and Ticketing Agent, you will be expected to modify flight reservations and tickets that cannot be handled online, apply the best fares possible, and perform quality control checks to ensure all bookings adhere to flight rules.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and identifying issues with our booking and ticketing systems, creating and updating profiles and invoices, and building PNRs and itineraries.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role from OTA or Flights Background, fluency in English at a B2 level, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Modification of Flight Reservations and Tickets that cannot be handled online such as ticket exchanges, voids, cancellations, and refund processing.
  • Understanding and applying the best fares possible for domestic and international flights such as contract fares, snap codes (CAT, NEGO FARES airlines' rules etc.).
  • Multi PCC and Multi GDS shopping to reduce fares that are booked.
  • Performing Quality Control checks to ensure that all bookings adhere to the flight rules.
  • Monitoring and identifying issues with our booking and ticketing systems.
  • Creating and updating profiles and invoicing.
  • Building PNRs, creating itineraries, checking basic and advance availability, reading fare rules, and ensuring that all tickets are issued by deadlines.
  • Booking and Ticketing optimisation, reissuing, voiding, cancelling, and re-booking flights to gain additional savings.
  • Working with multiple consolidators globally in multiple BSPs to gain the highest level of commission or the lowest fare possible for a given booking.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English at a B2 level.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role from OTA or Flights Background.
  • Awareness and experience in the travel industry.
  • Strong communication skills are a must-have for this role.
  • Military service completion or exemption is necessary.
  • The candidate should be flexible with rotational shifts and days off.
  • Males must be flexible with night and overnight shifts.
  • The job requires working in an onsite setting.
