We are seeking an experienced Network Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a robust and secure network environment that supports our business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex Level 2 and Level 3 escalations related to LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
  • Troubleshoot network performance issues, connectivity failures, and configuration errors.
  • Support and troubleshoot IP phone systems from leading vendors such as Avaya and Cisco.
  • Handle escalations related to extension setup, call routing, and voice quality issues.
  • Coordinate with external teams for complex telephony problems.
  • Manage and replace patch cords, ensure proper port mappings and labeling.
  • Coordinate with field technicians for cabling checks and infrastructure improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and hardening guidelines.
  • Escalate unresolved or critical issues to specialized teams.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff on basic network troubleshooting and best practices.
  • Maintain professional communication with end users while resolving escalated issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is required.
  • Certifications in networking such as CCNA/CCNP are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and IP telephony systems is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting network performance, connectivity, configuration errors, and voice quality issues is necessary.
  • Familiarity with cabling standards, patch panels, port mappings, and security hardening guidelines is required.
  • 3-5 years' experience handling Level 2/3 escalations, vendor coordination, and ticketing systems is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to mentor junior staff and manage critical escalations under pressure are essential.
