About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Administration:
    • Install, configure, and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of networking concepts, including subnets and CIDR.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and issues, utilizing network monitoring systems to receive alerts and enhance uptime.
    • Implement network security protocols, such as VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection, and ensure data protection.
  • Systems Administration:
    • Deploy, configure, and support operating systems (Windows/Linux) and servers.
    • Manage Active Directory or similar directory services, including user access rights, group policies, and permission structures.
    • Apply system updates, security patches, firmware upgrades, and maintain endpoint security.
    • Implement regular data backups and recovery procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and testing.
Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • CCNA
  • CCNP
  • RHCE/RHCSA
  • MCSA/MCSE
  • CompTIA Network+/Security+
