Shopify Expert Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with extensive experience in Shopify management and development.

  1. E-commerce Platform Management: Lead the development and management of direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and developing custom solutions as needed.
  2. Store Scaling: Implement systems that support rapid growth for major brands, optimizing shopping experiences in regulated industries.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Shopify Management: Oversee theme updates, product launches, page buildouts, and site customizations to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  2. B2B Storefront Development: Build and optimize the B2B e-commerce experience to support business clients, enhancing platform efficiency and driving sales.
  3. Backend System Optimization: Develop and manage Shopify flows, automations, and apps to streamline processes and improve overall performance.
  4. Digital Marketing Integration: Manage online marketing initiatives, including reviews, referrals, affiliate programs, SEO, and more, to drive traffic and boost sales.
  5. Custom Development Projects: Oversee private app development and platform integrations as needed, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
  6. Data Analytics & Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track performance, provide insights, and drive data-informed decisions, helping to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic growth.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive Shopify expertise, including end-to-end store builds and platform management, with a strong understanding of best practices and industry standards.
  2. Experience working with Shopify apps to enhance site functionality, improving user experience and driving conversions.
  3. Proficiency in Klaviyo for email marketing and automation, leveraging data to create targeted campaigns and increase engagement.
  4. Strong understanding of analytics software and data analysis, utilizing metrics to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  5. Excel/data analysis skills for reporting and performance tracking, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Background in web development or data science, bringing a unique perspective and skillset to the role.
  2. Experience managing blended D2C and B2B Shopify stores for high-growth brands, with a proven track record of success.
