Job Title: Marketing Director

A strategic marketing professional with a background in pharmaceutical management will be highly beneficial.

This role requires hands-on experience in marketing and product development, preferably for veterinary products. The successful candidate will have the ability to create and implement effective marketing strategies, driving business growth and expansion.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, including market research and competitive analysis.
  • Forecast sales and manage budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee sales performance and develop targeted marketing strategies, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Maintain a competitive edge by monitoring competitors' activities and sales trends.

The ideal candidate will have leadership skills and be able to supervise a team of professionals, including NSM, area managers, sales promotion officers, product managers, and marketing coordinators.

  • Select, train, and manage a field force, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Evaluate the performance of the field force, providing constructive feedback and coaching.

The selected individual will be responsible for managing distribution networks, selecting or eliminating distributors, and resolving conflicts at distribution channels.

  • Develop training programs for the field force, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Create new business opportunities by developing new territories and sales avenues, identifying untapped markets and customers.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs and institutional partners.
  • Design and execute promotional campaigns, including literature and materials, that effectively communicate brand messaging and value propositions.

The Marketing Director will travel extensively throughout the region to meet with customers and sales personnel, ensuring coverage of assigned territories and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Develop and propose new products and futuristic molecules, conducting thorough market analysis and CBA evaluations.
  • Analyze market trends, growth, and profit margins to identify key molecules and register them for further development.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as an understanding of research and development concepts relevant to the pharma market.
