As Senior Tax Manager at City Electronics, you will be responsible for providing innovative tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returns.

You will manage tax provision and tax compliance process, improve processes by developing or implementing best practices, and manage and coordinate tax audits and maintain tax balances on general ledger.

Key responsibilities include preparing all tax papers on a regular basis, handling all information data requests, obtaining and maintaining a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure, ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.

You will also ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information, assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements, and ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.

In addition, you will support budget and forecasting activities, monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy, respond to inquiries from the Directors and other finance personnel regarding financial results, special reporting requests, and the like.

Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met, provide training to new and existing staff as needed, work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.

Job Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a tax manager, excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • MBA, ACCA, CA preferred.
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Good prioritization, planning, coordination, and time management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with GL, month-end close, and account reconciliations.
  • Trading Business (Import, Distribution, Retail, Home Appliances) experience preferred.
