Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Lead to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for overseeing budget development, financial forecasting, and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Budget Development: Develops and implements annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Financial Forecasting: Prepares revenue projections and analyzes variances to inform management decisions.
  • Team Collaboration: Participates in budget meetings, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Reviews staff reports, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with managers to resolve issues and enhance processes.
  • Policies and Procedures: Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating budget policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge of accounting, auditing, and financial forecasting principles. Additionally, you should understand state laws and regulations, as well as financial reporting practices. Proficiency in SAP - Budgeting Module is also required.

  • Accounting and Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of accounting principles, including financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP - Budgeting Module, as well as other relevant software applications.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Research and Analysis: Conducts research and analyzes complex budget and financial management issues to provide insightful recommendations.
  • Special Projects: Performs special projects and studies, preparing associated reports to support business objectives.
  • Process Enhancement: Evaluates and formulates recommendations for enhancing the budget development process and budget documents.
  • Capital Planning: Reviews the capital improvement plan for consistency with the annual operating and capital budget.
