Spearheading Climate Change Initiatives

A highly skilled Climate Change Specialist is sought to spearhead the development of comprehensive risk management strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field and have a proven track record of delivering trainings on climate and disaster risk management.
Key qualifications include proficiency in English, Urdu, and Punjabi as well as a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in climate change training, capacity building, and policy advisory roles.
Responsibilities:- Lead and contribute to the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) with respect to Comprehensive Risk Management (CRM) measures.
- Develop curriculum and training modules on CRM to ensure clarity, relevance, and effectiveness.
- Design and structure training materials, incorporating gender-sensitive approaches.
- Deliver training sessions on CRM measures, providing expert guidance and practical insights.
- Develop content for digital learning videos and apply remote training/knowledge-sharing methodologies.
- Conduct research, draft reports, and analyze climate risks, including adaptation planning, mitigation strategies, and disaster resilience.
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in climate change training, capacity building, and policy advisory roles.
