Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. As a key member of our team, you will design, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies, collaborating closely with development and product teams.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual and automated testing, proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks, and a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and establish quality standards
  • Implement testing frameworks and tools to automate processes and improve efficiency
  • Perform regression, performance, and load testing; analyze results to identify improvements
  • Identify, document, and track defects throughout their lifecycle
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices
  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with both manual and automated testing
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
