About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sales and Trade Development Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager - Sales Export, you will play a key role in identifying potential clients, fostering strong relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and approach potential clients for liner trade services, leveraging your market knowledge and industry expertise to build strong relationships.
  2. Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, informing effective sales strategies.
  3. Achieve a gross profit margin of at least three times the monthly salary through strategic sales efforts.
  4. Develop and maintain a substantial portfolio of potential customers, providing regular sales reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  5. Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and documentation teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  6. Mentor junior sales staff, sharing your industry expertise and best practices to enhance overall team performance.
  7. Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings to boost visibility and networking opportunities.
  8. Gather client feedback and share insights with relevant teams to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required.

Essential Experience

At least 5-7 years' experience in sales within the shipping and logistics industry is essential.
