About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sales and Trade Development Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager - Sales Export, you will play a key role in identifying potential clients, fostering strong relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients for liner trade services, leveraging your market knowledge and industry expertise to build strong relationships.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, informing effective sales strategies.
- Achieve a gross profit margin of at least three times the monthly salary through strategic sales efforts.
- Develop and maintain a substantial portfolio of potential customers, providing regular sales reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and documentation teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Mentor junior sales staff, sharing your industry expertise and best practices to enhance overall team performance.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings to boost visibility and networking opportunities.
- Gather client feedback and share insights with relevant teams to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required.
Essential Experience
At least 5-7 years' experience in sales within the shipping and logistics industry is essential.
