Job Title: Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Operations

This role is part of the Supply Chain Management team, responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring a smooth procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enlist new suppliers in the ERP system, verifying their active taxpayer status daily from relevant portals.
  • Create accounts in the ERP system and categorize them for financial purposes, preparing documentation for releasing payments.
  • Add new supplier sites to existing vendor accounts in the ERP system, updating vendor information and categorization.
  • Update records in existing vendor accounts upon request, including address, contact details, etc.
  • Support deactivating vendor accounts that are debarred or blacklisted, notify relevant departments, and coordinate with IT for website updates.
  • Assist restoring vendor accounts after debarment periods, inform departments, and coordinate with IT for website updates.
  • Handle correspondence with vendors, contractors, and departments to address queries related to vendor records.
  • Prepare status reports for capital budget items, service contracts, and stock requirements, gathering data from the ERP system.
  • Create new item codes in the Item Master Oracle Database, defining and updating item details.
  • Assist preparing Purchase Requisitions, collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring timely submission.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks, comply with risk management frameworks, participate in risk activities, and report key risks.

The ideal candidate will have an MBA in Supply Chain from a recognized university, with at least 2 years of experience. Certification in Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent is preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MBA in Supply Chain from a recognized university
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management
  • Certification in Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent
