Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

 

About the Position:

We are seeking a seasoned quality assurance specialist to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of QA methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for identifying and resolving defects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Development and Execution: Design, develop, maintain and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for front-end, back-end, and dApp components.
  • Testing Types: Perform various types of testing, including functional testing, UI testing, regression testing, usability testing, integration testing.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects.
  • Quality Review: Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Risk Identification: Proactively identify potential issues and risks.

 

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience testing dApps and understanding of web3 and blockchain technology is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience testing front-end and back-end applications.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, principles, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira).
  • Good understanding of at least one programming language (Javascript/Typescript is preferred).
  • Strong experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
  • Proactive team player with strong communication & organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details.

 

Nice to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with test automation (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer with JavaScript/Typescript).
  • Experience with performance testing.
  • Experience of testing in microservices architecture.
  • ISTQB certification.
