Mid-Senior Accounting Professional

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive accounting expert seeking a new challenge? We are looking for a skilled Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to join our team. This role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and relevant tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and relevant tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external clients for invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Assist in audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor junior finance and accounting team members.
  • Collaborate with client teams on finance-related process transitions, knowledge transfers, or new project setups.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA, CA, CMA finalists or part-qualified preferred).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably within a BPO or service-based environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and strong MS Excel skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes in outsourcing/shared services models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
