Cloud Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to manage and support our hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises systems.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional, able to adapt to a wide range of technologies, and passionate about maintaining robust, secure, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, security, and platform-as-a-service components.
  • Maintain and optimize domain name system and domain configurations, including Cloudflare settings, registrar information, and SSL certificates.
  • Administer Windows Server and Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.), including patching, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Configure and manage web server platforms: Internet Information Services, Apache, and NGINX.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and domain trusts in a hybrid identity environment.
  • Administer SQL Server instances and assist with performance tuning, backups, and patching.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues related to website hosting, load balancers, and high-availability deployments.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation, monitoring, and provisioning tasks.
  • Participate in DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code where applicable.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and alerts to ensure high availability and security.
  • Assist in audits, documentation, and compliance-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development teams, security experts, and support staff to maintain and evolve the infrastructure stack.
