Senior Storage Administrator Position

The Enterprise Logic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Administrator to join their team. This role involves managing and troubleshooting NFS exports and CIFS Shares, as well as overseeing Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches including SAN zoning and tools.

  1. Manage and troubleshoot storage systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues and implement solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent teamwork, verbal and written communication skills, and experience working with Linux, LDAP, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High-Performance Networking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  2. Ensuring optimal performance of all system components by proactively conducting ongoing performance monitoring and tuning/adjusting as necessary.
  3. Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  4. Enhance the functionality of systems by developing and modifying scripts to automate system processes.
  5. Create Knowledge Base articles of operational tasks to streamline support and empower first level support to resolve issues on a first call basis.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in storage administration and troubleshooting.
  3. Experience with backing up SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, AIX, Windows and Red Hat Linux.
  4. Must have experience using technologies such as Linux, LDAP, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High-Performance Networking.
