Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Proposal Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing high-quality business proposals and bids, with a proven track record of success in managing and winning competitive bids.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing compelling business proposals and bids that meet client requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to contribute to the content and presentation of proposals, including preparing management summaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality business proposals and bids tailored to client requirements
  • Conduct market research to identify current and future trends and opportunities
  • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and submit business proposals as bids
  • Address queries related to proposals and raise concerns after assessing Terms of Reference (ToRs)
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute to the content and presentation of proposals
  • Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements and reflect best practices in structure, content, and presentation

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in English language & Literature
  • 2 years of experience in proposal writing or a bidding department
  • Familiarity with bidding processes and RFPs is an advantage
  • Proven success in managing and winning competitive bids/Proposals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with proposal management software and tools is an advantage

Certification:

APMP Foundation (or higher) certification is required.
