Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee manufacturing operations and ensure they meet volume, quality, and cost goals at our Faisalabad Plant.

This role reports directly to the Manager Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with operation & maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID / FD fans, and compressors.
  • Design of Mechanical Systems, familiarity with maintenance techniques like alignment, balancing & condition monitoring, IMS/GMP requirements, etc.
  • Effective & timely maintenance of mechanical systems and auxiliaries, ensuring compliance with PM & condition-based schedules through SAP.
  • Contribute new quality ideas, prepare feasibility reports, BOQs, follow up on procurement, and ensure safe execution of capex / MOC projects.
  • Implement EHS standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment for subordinates.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, recommend new equipment/methods, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, develop a motivated work environment, and ensure staff awareness of best practices.
Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

  • Work experience in Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Process / Food industries.
  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience in operation & maintenance of electrical installations.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
