Female Room Attendant Job Description

Position Purpose:

  • To provide exceptional support to the Housekeeping department.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. To deliver courteous, professional, and efficient service at all times in guest rooms, public areas, and back of house spaces.
  2. To possess a thorough understanding and knowledge of room-related services and products.
  3. To maintain a clean and organized workspace and surrounding area at all times.
  4. To handle guest inquiries with courtesy and efficiency, reporting complaints or issues to the Supervisor. If no immediate solution is found, ensure follow-up with guests.
  5. To hand over lost and found items to the Supervisor/Executive Housekeeper with complete information.
  6. To have a comprehensive understanding of cleaning products and their economical use.
  7. To adhere strictly to established rules and regulations regarding fire safety, hygiene, health, and security.
  8. To report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform at all times.
  9. To foster good relationships with colleagues in the workplace and across departments.
  10. To undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or Supervisor.
  11. To assist in conducting quarterly, bi-annual, and annual inventory of operating equipment.
