The Inside Solutions Architect – Security role requires a presales technical expert to understand client business goals and design tailored security solutions. Key responsibilities include supporting sales teams, working with vendors, and ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Gathering requirements and designing solutions that meet client needs
  • Creating Bill of Materials (BoM), quotes, and validating solutions
  • Gaining knowledge of security platforms such as firewalls, endpoint protection, IAM, cloud security, SIEM/SOAR, and vulnerability management
  • Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Participating in discovery calls and reviewing configurations and quotes
  • Identifying upsell opportunities and supporting internal knowledge sharing
  • Working towards relevant security certifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields or equivalent experience. Vendor certifications in security solutions are preferred. At least 2+ years in sales or IT security roles is also required. Basic understanding of security concepts and strong communication skills are essential.

This role contributes to sales growth and meeting revenue targets. Success metrics include achieving industry certifications, developing technical and business knowledge to support sales efforts, and contributing to customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of security technologies with an eagerness to learn and be proactive, adaptable, customer-focused, and collaborative.
