Attract a skilled Collections Specialist to spearhead account receivable management and provide exceptional customer service. This role entails handling collections-related inquiries, leveraging billing expertise to resolve customer issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding account balances, invoices, and payment disputes.
  • Proactively address billing concerns, including subscription fees and one-time charges, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage high call volumes, handling both inbound and outbound calls, while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Analyze and reconcile customer accounts, including reviewing historical invoices, payments, chargebacks, refunds, credits, and write-offs.
  • Support the monthly close process by ensuring accurate period cutoffs and facilitating smooth financial operations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Fulfilment teams to resolve account issues, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.
  • Manage assigned accounts receivable portfolios, prioritizing customer retention and timely collections.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for collections processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Respond to and resolve customer support cases related to collections in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Generate accurate reports and forecasts on collection performance, enabling data-driven decision making.
What We're Looking ForRequired
  • 1–2 years of experience in a collections or customer-facing role, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • High level of organization, vigilance, and time management skills, with the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and strong computation abilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, work independently or as part of a team, and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Preferred
  • Experience in SaaS collections and Quote-to-Cash processes, with a deep understanding of billing and subscription workflows.
  • Familiarity with Zuora, Salesforce, and Collections software, with the ability to leverage technology to streamline collections processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
  • Empathy and professionalism when engaging with customers, with a focus on building trust and resolving issues efficiently.
