Job Title: Chief Operations Manager

The Chief Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment installed at Industrial Gas meter stations and Town Border Stations.

  • Ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment installed at Industrial Gas meter stations and Town Border Stations.
  • Supervise the effective operation and maintenance of the Data Acquisition System for Customer Meter Stations (CMS) within the designated franchise area.
  • Verify proper functionality of Remote Monitoring Equipment installed across CMSs / TBSs in the franchise area.
  • Report exceptions through the Remote Monitoring system.
  • Develop dashboards and screens for monitoring consumption and exception reporting.
  • Oversee procurement of necessary spares and equipment related to Remote Monitoring, adhering to technical specifications and requirements.
  • Drive proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower, ensuring timely completion of remote monitoring equipment maintenance activities.
  • Establish key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, fostering individual growth for team members.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, document problems, and coordinate with relevant departments for swift resolution.
  • Coordinate and manage field activities related to the installation, startup, maintenance and operation of data acquisition equipment across the franchise network.
  • Manage precise gas management, accurate measurement, and pressure adherence according to demand-supply analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications.
  • Minimum 09 years of post-qualification experience.
  • At least 09 years post qualification experience in remote monitoring and data acquisition in Oil and Gas Sector.
