Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Corrosion Engineer, responsible for managing and implementing asset integrity programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corrosion engineering, with expertise in cathodic protection design, coating inspections, and asset integrity management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist management in developing policies and procedures related to asset integrity management systems.
  2. Design and implement corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection systems, including specifications, calculations, graphic analysis, and survey data evaluation.
  3. Resolve cathodic protection and interference issues, and oversee corrective actions through corrosion personnel.
  4. Manage various asset integrity surveys, develop coating rehabilitation plans, and monitor the effectiveness of cathodic protection systems.
  5. Maintain CCT power sources, ground beds, pipe-to-soil potentials, and coatings; perform CCT using impressed current and sacrificial anodes on transmission and distribution networks.
  6. Conduct and analyze different surveys, and revalidate pipeline integrity assessments to identify vulnerable sections.
  7. Review corrosion monitoring reports, guide corrective actions, analyze hardware data, and develop in-house repair capabilities for faulty equipment.
  8. Stay updated on new technologies for asset integrity and corrosion monitoring.
  9. Utilize Enterprise Asset Management System for preventive maintenance, material procurement, root cause failure analysis, and monitoring maintenance schedules.
  10. Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment, and assist in preparing annual budgets.
  11. Manage, motivate, and train staff to provide corrosion control for underground infrastructure, supervise new pipeline projects, and monitor coating status during project handover.
