About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ambitious Area Manager (Sales) to lead our sales efforts in various locations across Pakistan.

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing sales and distribution performance in your area by analyzing market conditions, coordinating with third parties, and working closely with EZDs to achieve measurable growth in market share.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. You will develop and implement business strategies, ensuring that shipment volumes, in-market sales, and secondary sales are achieved, along with various distribution-related KPIs such as Coverage, Hit rate, and Call Frequency.
  2. You will effectively implement the Distribution Strategy, ensuring required distribution infrastructure is in place. You'll also develop a keen business sense and communicate compensation and rewards to distributors and DSRs, including SDA, DSR's Target Incentives, and P4P.
  3. You will provide on-the-job mentoring to DSRs and Distributors to ensure ICM implementation. You'll develop relationships with trade directly and through DSRs, using these relationships to capitalize on business growth opportunities and ensure smooth execution of the Area Business Plan.
  4. You will lead trade loyalty programs by setting and communicating monthly targets, ensuring target follow-ups and compliance with contractual obligations. You'll also identify high-potential POS and wholesalers in the area and assist RSM in contractual negotiations.
  5. You will oversee 3rd-party merchandising teams.
  6. You will report Permanent Point of Sale Material maintenance issues and ensure the implementation of rectification as required.
  7. You will ensure distributor compliance with PMPKL requirements and workload management. You'll uphold corporate integrity and values, ensuring all activities adhere to PMPKL policies and procedures, including local and federal laws, PMI Code of Conduct, and Marketing Code.
  8. You will update meaningful market data and information, including retail dynamics and competitor intelligence, to enhance Company understanding of trade and develop appropriate strategies and plans.
