We are seeking an experienced Item Onboarding Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in item setup, merchandising support, supply chain, or related roles, preferably in wholesale distribution or consumer goods.
  • They will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP and data management systems (e.g., Oracle, NCR Counterpoint, SQL).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and possess a collaborative mindset with a customer service orientation.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the onboarding process for new items into the ERP system, ensuring accurate and complete data.
  2. Collaborate with Category Managers, Sales Teams, Suppliers, and Distribution Centers to gather and verify item setup information, including UPCs, descriptions, pricing, case pack, weights, and dimensions.
  3. Maintain and update master data records for new and existing SKUs.
  4. Resolve data discrepancies and troubleshoot item setup issues promptly.
  5. Serve as a point of contact for vendors during the item setup process, ensuring all onboarding documentation and requirements are met.
  6. Support seasonal or category resets by managing item transitions and lifecycle updates (e.g., discontinued SKUs).
  7. Conduct regular audits of item files to ensure ongoing data integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in item setup, merchandising support, supply chain, or related roles, preferably in wholesale distribution or consumer goods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP and data management systems (e.g., Oracle, NCR Counterpoint, SQL).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a customer service orientation.
