Data Analyst - Product Configuration Specialist

As a Data Analyst - Product Configuration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and complete product information within the ERP system.

You will work closely with Category Managers, Sales Teams, Suppliers, and Distribution Centers to gather and verify item setup details, including UPCs, descriptions, pricing, case pack, weights, and dimensions.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in item setup, merchandising support, supply chain, or a related role.

Prior experience with ERP and data management systems, such as Oracle, NCR Counterpoint, or SQL, is also preferred.

This opportunity offers a chance to serve as a point of contact for vendors during the item setup process and support seasonal or category resets by managing item transitions and lifecycle updates.

Additional responsibilities include conducting regular audits of item files to ensure ongoing data integrity and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate onboarding process for new items into the ERP system
  • Partner with Category Managers, Sales Teams, Suppliers, and Distribution Centers to gather item setup information
  • Maintain and update master data records for new and existing SKUs
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve item setup issues
  • Serve as point of contact for vendors during the item setup process
  • Support seasonal or category resets by managing item transitions and lifecycle updates
  • Conduct regular audits of item files to ensure ongoing data integrity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in item setup, merchandising support, supply chain, or a related role
  • Prior experience with ERP and data management systems (e.g., Oracle, NCR Counterpoint, SQL)
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborative mindset with a customer service orientation
