Transformative Software Engineering Opportunities

We are seeking a skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our Corporate Data & Analytics Service team, aligned with the Corporate Technology Division. As a core technical contributor, you will be responsible for developing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions.

This role involves designing and developing innovative software solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and thinking beyond routine approaches to solve complex problems. You will also develop secure, high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others, and identify opportunities to automate and remediate recurring issues to improve operational stability.

  • Design and Develop Innovative Solutions: Create cutting-edge software solutions that meet the needs of our business functions.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials for integration within existing systems.
  • Community Building: Contribute to a team culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect, while leading communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of new technologies.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Software Engineering Expertise: Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of practical experience.
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
  • Automation and Continuous Delivery: Experience with automation and continuous delivery methodologies.
  • Software Development Life Cycle: Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Cloud Computing: Proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a discipline like cloud computing, AI, machine learning, or mobile development.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Modern Front-end Technologies: Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud technologies.
