Climate Finance Programme Lead

We seek an experienced professional to lead a climate finance programme in Pakistan, working with the government and UK's Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
- This is a 5.5-year assignment that aims to crowd in private climate finance using a blended finance approach.
The programme will support the delivery of independent Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) functions, assessing delivery against the programme's theory of change and strengthening the global evidence base on private Adaptation and Resilience (A&R) finance mobilisation.
As the programme leader, you will oversee all technical aspects, devise a strategy, and engage with stakeholders. You will be based in Islamabad, with travel as required.
Requirements:- Advanced degree in international development, finance, economics, business administration, or a relevant field.
- 15+ years of professional experience in the fields of the programme.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in challenging contexts.
- Track record of effectively monitoring and evaluating climate finance activities and programmes.
- Excellent communication and diplomatic skills.
- Knowledge and experience of delivering FCDO programmes.
- Thematic expertise in sustainable development, private climate finance mobilisation, and climate adaptation.
