As a skilled professional in power generation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our off-site facilities. Your expertise in electrical systems and controls will be essential in troubleshooting and rectifying faults in diesel and petrol gensets.

About This Role

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and performing routine checks on equipment are crucial aspects of this position. You will work closely with the engineer to maintain inventory levels of assets and materials related to power plant operations.

  • Effective maintenance of off-site facilities diesel and petrol gensets of various capacities is a key responsibility.
  • You will troubleshoot and rectify electrical and controls faults of gas and diesel gensets.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving ATS panel issues at offsite locations.
  • Your expertise will also be required for resolving MV VCB Panels ATS panels and LV switchgear issues.
  • Participating in testing and commissioning activities of new gensets installed within the hospital or offsite buildings is another critical aspect of this role.
  • You will assist in purchasing spare parts through petty cash under emergency conditions.
  • Performing operational shift duties as required by superiors is an essential part of this position.
  • Ensuring work is carried out under approved safety standards using appropriate safety equipment is paramount.
  • Reporting any hazards or abnormalities to superiors is a key responsibility.
  • You may be required to carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors.
