Pakistan Technical Service Engineer

Job Description

This role requires a highly motivated and experienced technical professional to provide expert-level support for solar inverter products in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with distributors/installers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Providing prompt and efficient response to customer after-sales inquiries and technical issues in Pakistan. This includes conducting on-site visits as required to address complex problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
  2. Supporting distributors/installers throughout the photovoltaic (PV) power station lifecycle, including installation supervision, system monitoring, and long-term operation & maintenance (O&M) optimization.
  3. Translating and organizing product technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, and training materials for local teams.
  4. Designing and delivering product training programs (technical features, after-sales processes, safety protocols) for distributors, installers, and end-users to enhance technical proficiency and brand loyalty.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Technical Background: Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation (preferred). Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in solar inverters, power systems, or related fields.
  • Language & Legal Compliance: Fluent in English (written and verbal). Valid long-term work permit in Pakistan is mandatory.
  • Digital Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and remote support tools. Familiarity with PV system design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst) is an advantage.
  • Core Competencies: Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills; excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration abilities; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines.
