Primary Purpose:

To lead the entire bidding and project lifecycle — from tender identification, technical documentation, and client meetings to execution oversight — for both solar EPC and fabrication projects. This person should have strong technical knowledge, handle tender submissions, meet clients, and guide field teams during execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender & Proposal Management
  • Identify relevant tenders from government portals, clients, or DISCOs
  • Review and interpret technical tender documents
  • Prepare complete technical & financial bids
  • Coordinate pre-bid meetings and site surveys
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of tenders
    • Technical Client Handling
    • Attend client meetings for technical discussions and presentations
    • Explain solutions (solar systems, steel structures, inverters, etc.) to clients
    • Customize BOQs and proposals based on site or client requirements
    • Build and maintain strong technical credibility with clients
      • Project Oversight & Coordination
      • Lead project kickoff after tender is won
      • Coordinate with procurement, site teams, and subcontractors
      • Review and approve drawings, specs, and designs
      • Ensure work execution as per technical standards and timeline
      • Resolve technical or client-side issues during project lifecycle

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
  • 3–5 years experience in solar EPC projects or industrial fabrication
  • Strong understanding of:
  • PV system design and sizing
  • Net metering and inverter specs
  • Steel structure drawings and BOQs
  • Experience with government/public sector tenders is a must
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills
  • Able to travel occasionally for client or site visits
