Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and user-friendly RESTful APIs that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers for seamless API integration.
  • Develop high-quality, well-documented, and reusable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
  • Design and optimize database schemas to ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Write complex SQL queries to ensure optimal database performance.

  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality and improve user experience.
  • Develop custom APIs to facilitate data exchange between different systems.
  • Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in the application to ensure smooth operations.

  • Identify and resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Utilize version control systems like Git for source code management and collaboration.
  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Follow established coding standards and best practices to maintain high-quality code.
  • Document code, processes, and project specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a PHP developer with a strong emphasis on the CodeIgniter framework.
  • Experience with database systems like MySQL, including database design and optimization.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
