Job Title:

The role of Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the conference centre, leading a team of staff and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client communications and work schedules to ensure seamless delivery of events.
  • Handle customer complaints and comments in a professional manner.
  • Oversee recruitment, training and monitoring of staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue.
  • Lead by example in maintaining service standards of the institution.
  • Research new business opportunities to identify growth areas.
  • Purchase necessary equipment for the education centre's operation.
Requirements
  • Preferred degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Friendly, energetic and welcoming nature.
  • Working knowledge of current business trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
