About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable cotton farming practices. As a Sustainable Cotton Development Specialist, you will lead capacity building initiatives, manage relationships with partners, and improve sustainable practices at the farm level.
Your responsibilities will include designing and executing field-level strategies, conducting training programs, and providing strategic guidance for large farm and regional portfolios. You will also support impact thematic areas with expertise and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement capacity building initiatives.
- Manage relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain knowledge networks and partnerships.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure data collection, analysis, reporting, and communication efforts are effectively handled.
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in development program/project management.
- 4-6 years of experience in capacity building and partnership management.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in rural development, agriculture, and cotton farming, especially in Punjab and Sindh.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Knowledge of Punjabi, Sindhi, or Siraiki is a plus.
