Business Development Representative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our sales team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through cold calling or responding to customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and presentation skills. You should be able to understand customers' requirements quickly and present solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate meetings with potential clients over the phone.
  • Develop confidence and aptitude to engage with senior decision-makers without hesitation.
  • Utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills to address customer complaints effectively.
  • Maintain persistence and a results-driven approach to achieve sales quotas.
  • Demonstrate patience and resilience when handling customer rejection.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets, preferably through telephone-based interactions.
  • Familiarity with relevant computer software (Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Production, HR) and telephone systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
