Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our dynamic team. As an accounts officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the company's finances are up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
  2. Ensure accurate account allocation for all financial information recorded.
  3. Review and verify all expenses, ensuring they are budgeted for and documented properly.
  4. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  5. Prepare error-free accounting reports and present results.
  6. Assist with audits, tax returns, and budgeting.
  7. Assist with preparation of monthly, bi-annual, and annual reports, including financial statements.
  8. Reconcile banks, vendors, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders' ledgers.
  9. Coordinate with stakeholders as assigned.
  10. Maintain secure credentials and access controls for systems and processes.
  11. Resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
  12. Perform other tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in maintaining books of accounts, with a reasonable understanding of fintech or digital payments.
  3. Good communication and analytical skills.
  4. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
