Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager in Corporate Finance. Our ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely analysis, identification, communication, and resolution of balance sheet account reconciliation issues to prevent frauds and potential monetary losses due to inappropriate accounting practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the finance shared services central budget, including preparation and reporting of quarterly plans and company plans.
  • Providing support to line managers in relation to understanding and challenging regional GBS company budgets, finance inputs to global company S&OP, and influenced finance costs globally.
  • Coordinating planning and reporting during the preparation of annual plans and quarterly reporting.
  • Supporting ongoing changes in the company business model, undertaking ad hoc reviews, and inputting into company projects.
  • Primary contact for local auditors regarding actual reported data in group books.
  • Generating monthly financial overview presentations for management, explaining variances.
  • Managing quarterly planning exercises and company plans.
Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in applying finance in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
  • Understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically BI/BPC, SAP, or ERP equivalent.
  • Ability to understand the impact of accounting processes and practices.
  • Capacity to analyze reports, identify issues, and challenges within report functionalities and data.
  • Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledgeable in identifying risks and implementing controls.
  • Experienced in audit and compliance (internal/external).
  • Degree educated with professional accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
