The role of Senior Service Engineer involves the commissioning and servicing of chillers and HVAC systems. This includes attending to complaints related to these systems, carrying out preventive maintenance as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and conducting Root Cause Analysis for failures.

A key responsibility is ensuring adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines set by Trane standards. Additionally, the role entails handling customer service requirements, generating leads, and providing daily reports to the office and Assistant Service Manager (ASM).

This position requires practical hands-on experience with chiller installation, warranty, and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services. Furthermore, operational experience with Microsoft Office, internet, mail, and other software applications is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  1. Commission chillers and HVAC systems
  2. Repair all types of HVAC equipment
  3. Conduct weekly team meetings on safety, site audits, and backlogs
  4. Update Service Manager & Coordinator on monthly plan
  5. Perform root cause analysis for failures and share findings with Quality team & FFL
  6. Ensure quality job execution and timely completion of service tasks
  7. Generate leads

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Practical hands-on experience with chiller installation, warranty, and AMC services
  • Operational experience with MS Office, Internet, Mail, etc.
  • Familiarity with EHS guidelines
