Job Overview

This role involves leading the planning, development and execution of high-impact content across various channels. The Assistant Manager will work closely with faculty and department heads to identify compelling stories related to research innovation community impact and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop media briefs press releases speeches and talking points for leadership and official representation.
  • Collaborate with external PR agencies media outlets and government liaisons to increase the university's brand presence and strategic outreach.
  • Leverage AI-based tools to streamline content creation editing campaign planning and audience engagement.
  • Ensure brand consistency tone of voice and compliance with institutional messaging across all communication channels.
  • Monitor media coverage sentiment and engagement analytics to refine communication strategies.
  • Manage cross-campus communications and assist in crisis communication responses when required.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns events and public engagement initiatives.
Requirements
