Job Title: Content Writer Lead

Industry: Vape (Preferred)

Reports to: Content Manager/Director

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Content Writer Lead to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for our vape products and accessories. The successful candidate will lead a team of content writers, creating high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience and drives sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy: - Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our business goals and target audience. - Conduct research to identify trends, topics, and formats that resonate with our audience.

  2. Content Creation: - Write high-quality, engaging content for various formats, including blog posts, product descriptions, social media, and more. - Ensure content is optimized for SEO and aligns with our brand voice and tone.

  3. Team Management: - Lead and manage a team of content writers, providing guidance, training, and support. - Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of projects.

  4. Content Editing and Review: - Review and edit content created by team members to ensure quality, consistency, and brand alignment. - Provide constructive feedback to team members to improve content quality.

  5. Content Performance Analysis: - Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, including engagement, traffic, and conversion rates. - Use data insights to inform content strategy and optimize future content.

  6. Brand Voice and Tone: - Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all content channels. - Ensure content aligns with our brand values and messaging.

Requirements:

  1. Experience:

5+ years of experience in content writing, with at least 2 years in a lead or management role.

  1. Skills: - Proven content writing expertise, with a strong portfolio showcasing writing skills. - Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools.

  2. Knowledge: - In-depth knowledge of content marketing principles, including strategy, creation, and distribution. - Familiarity with the vape industry and its regulations.

Nice to Have:

  1. Industry Experience:

Experience working in the vape industry or a related field.

Content marketing, SEO, or social media certifications.
