Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing QA team. This is a full-time position that requires hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and executing automated test frameworks that ensure high product quality and fast release cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Write clear, reusable, and scalable test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand application workflows and translate them into test scenarios.
  • Conduct regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing using automation tools.
  • Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, then track them to resolution.
  • Continuously improve automation coverage and optimize test execution times.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
  • Monitor test results and generate reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews and QA planning meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest QA automation tools, trends, and practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Robot Framework.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Karate.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, test lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with version control systems (Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Knowledge of database querying using SQL.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
